Structured Power Middle Office Analyst Intern

Candidate Profile ###

What we're looking for

• Currently pursuing a Master's degree or in the final year of studies in Quantitative Finance, Financial Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics or a related field.
• Strong programming skills in Python and advanced proficiency in Excel. Knowledge of VBA is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with SQL, Databricks, Streamlit and analytical libraries such as Pandas, NumPy or Plotly would be an advantage.
• Strong interest in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning and Generative AI.
• An understanding of financial modelling, derivatives, valuation or risk metrics would be appreciated.
• Genuine interest in commodity trading and energy markets, particularly European power.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a rigorous, curious and detail-oriented approach.
• Ability to translate business challenges into practical technical solutions.
• Strong communication skills, a collaborative mindset and fluency in written and spoken English.
