• Participate in the conceptual further development of the Transformation & Innovation Defense organizational unit, as well as develop organizational variants and strategic concepts.
• Conduct research, analyses, and benchmarks on topics such as organizational design, enabling, digital transformation, and military innovation.
• Create communication products for the internal and external support of the transformation (presentations, dossiers, texts).
• Support the design and further development of digital working platforms (SharePoint, M365, Confluence).
• Participate in the organization of workshops, meetings, and events in the context of transformation, enabling & innovation.

What makes you unique

• University degree at Master's level in Business Administration, Psychology, Social Sciences (International Relations, Political Science, Communication Science) or a comparable field. Knowledge of organizational development, transformation, or digitalization is an advantage.
• Affinity for modern ways of working, communication, and digital collaboration.
• Understanding of entrepreneurial contexts and practical challenges in day-to-day business.
• Initial practical professional experience during studies in a company, a public administration, or a comparable organization (through internships, working student positions, or studies-accompanying professional activity).

The Army Staff (A Stab) supports the Chief of the Army in leading the Defense departmental area and is responsible for the overall military planning and development of the Swiss Army. Here, in accordance with political requirements, the strategic foundations, the development of the armed forces, and army and armament planning are developed, and tasks in the international security context are performed. The leadership, management, and coordination of all cross-cutting areas (Personnel, Finance, Real Estate) also fall within the responsibility of the Army Staff. The Swiss Army employs over 9'000 employees in four military and around 200 civilian professions -- and this at 110 locations throughout Switzerland. Provision is also made for young talent: The Swiss Army trains apprentices in over 30 professions.
