Migration concerns us

The State Secretariat for Migration (SEM) handles all matters pertaining to foreign law and asylum law in Switzerland.

The Stay sections handle exciting and extremely varied legal cases concerning the lives of persons admitted provisionally after the closure of their asylum procedure. This includes, among others, applications for family reunification, change of canton, statelessness, second asylum, rectification of data and consultation of the file, as well as the examination and, if applicable, the lifting of provisional admission or the finding of its expiration.

Additional information

The internship must begin at latest one year after obtaining the diploma.

The duration will be limited to four months (from 1 January until 31 April 2027).
