As an entry into the professional world and to support the team, we are looking for a motivated personality starting January 1, 2027, or by arrangement, for 7 months with the option to extend to 12 months.

Tasks

• You process and examine cases and file criminal complaints according to StGB and according to internally defined processes.
• You support the team in investigations and legal advice in the areas of social assistance, general administrative, and criminal law.
• You are the contact person in collaboration with the Staatsanwaltschaft, the police, etc.
• You take on demanding administrative tasks.

Profile

• Completed legal studies (at least Bachelor level)
• Interest in the areas of criminal and administrative law
• Initial work experience in the commercial or legal field
• Structured, careful, committed, and well-organized approach and way of working
• Very good oral and written expression in internal and external exchange as well as when writing legal texts

We offer

A versatile and meaningful activity in an interdisciplinary team of 10 employees with high expertise. There is the possibility to credit 3 months of the internship towards admission to the zürcherische Anwaltsprüfung, provided you have a Master's degree.

Das Team Vertiefte Abklärungen is one of six teams of the Zentralen Dienste. The Zentralen Dienste provide management support and support services for the management and employees of the Soziale Dienste der Stadt Zürich. Das Team Vertiefte Abklärungen supports the case-managing social workers in preventing unlawful benefit receipt in economic social assistance and in the preparation of criminal complaints.
