Symbios Orthopédie SA is looking to fill a position as an ES Technician Intern in industrial systems ---------------------------------------------------- ### Mission Acquire practical experience in an industrial company and successfully carry out a development project in automation, from the analysis of the need to commissioning, during an internship whose duration is set by the company or by the training regulations. ### Responsibilities Integration into the company * Familiarize yourself with the different industrial techniques used on site (CNC machining, additive manufacturing, robotics, control, etc.) and with the automated production means; * Acquire the new skills necessary for the completion of the diploma work (tools, software and technologies specific to the project). Automation development project (internship and diploma work) * Analyze the need and the existing installation, then write a specification validated with the internship supervisor; * Study and compare different technical solutions (programmable logic controllers, HMI, supervision, industrial vision, sensors, communication networks) and propose an argued concept (costs, deadlines, risks); * Design the selected solution: system architecture, electrical diagrams, mechanical drawings and choice of components; * Develop the programs (PLC, HMI, web interface, vision, etc.) according to the rules of the art and company standards; * Implement, commission, test and validate the solution by means of documented test protocols; * Integrate machine safety requirements from the design stage (risk analysis, applicable standards). Project management and documentation * Establish the project schedule, keep it up to date and document changes; * Keep a logbook and write minutes of the follow-up meetings; * Write an internship report including the social and technical context of the company, an exhaustive description of the project status, as well as the planned schedule and its modifications; * Elaborate the final technical documentation of the diploma work (technical file, user manual, maintenance documentation) and ensure its presentation; * Ensure regular communication with the internship supervisor on progress, difficulties encountered and decisions made. Safety and compliance * Ensure strict compliance with safety rules within the production and maintenance areas, as well as during interventions and trials; * Identify and report any risk or defect that could impact the safety of people and installations; * Respect and apply the regulations related to the requirements of the medical field ISO13485 / 21CFR820 Subpart G; * Respect the confidentiality of company information as well as 5S principles in the work areas. ### Sought profile * Student ES Technician in Industrial Systems Engineering or equivalent * Knowledge in automation and in programming of Siemens and Schneider Electric programmable logic controllers; * Knowledge in electrical engineering, electronics and industrial IT (networks, communication, HMI/supervision); * Mastery of standard IT tools (MS Office 365) and good writing and synthesis skills; * Rigor, autonomy, technical curiosity, spirit of initiative and sense of organization.
