Intern

The Stiftung Hochsteig operates a special education residential home for around 46 in Lichtensteig and a day special education school for 19 typically developing children and adolescents with learning and behavioral difficulties (schools, day school groups, boarding school).

As of 1 February 2027, internship positions will become available at our Schulheim Hochsteig. The assignments take place in our day school group in combination with the school sector or in a boarding school group. An internship lasts at least 6 months; it can also be extended to 1 year.

Intern

You accompany and support children and adolescents in their everyday life in the day special education school combined with an assignment in the school sector or in the weekly boarding school. You are at least 20 years old and have already completed an initial vocational training or have a Matura and work experience. Additionally, you are a team player and resilient.

We offer you an interesting field of work in a motivated team, supervision, internship support, a five-day week and 13 vacation weeks per year (through compensation). Lichtensteig is very well accessible by public transport (Rapperswil, Wil, St.Gallen in under 30 minutes).
