What you can contribute

• Participate in the conceptual development of the Transformation and Innovation Defense organizational unit and develop organizational variants and strategies
• Conduct research, analyses, and comparative studies in the field of organizational structure, enabling, digital transformation, and military innovation
• Prepare communication products to support transformation internally and externally (presentations, files, texts)
• Contribute to the creation and development of digital work platforms (SharePoint, M365, Confluence)
• Organize workshops, meetings, and events related to transformation, enabling, and innovation

What makes you unique

• University degree (master's) in business administration, psychology, social sciences (e.g., international relations, political science, communication sciences) or in a similar field
• Ideally, knowledge of organizational development, transformation, or digitalization
• Interest in modern work models, communication, and digital collaboration
• Understanding of entrepreneurial processes and practical daily challenges

First practical experience acquired during studies, in a company, or with a public administration or similar organization (e.g., internship, student job, or side professional activity)

The Army Staff (EM A) supports the Chief of the Army in its activities of conducting the departmental domain of Defense and ensures global military planning as well as the development of the Swiss Army as a whole. It develops the strategic bases, the development of the armed forces, and the planning of the army and armament, in accordance with political directives, and assumes tasks in the context of international security. The management, steering, and coordination of all cross-sectional domains (personnel, finance, real estate) also fall within its competence.

The Swiss Army employs more than 9000 employees in four military professions and approximately 200 civil professions, across 110 sites throughout Switzerland. It also ensures succession by training apprentices in more than 30 trades.
