It manages and coordinates the communication of the Government and prepares its political planning. It organizes the events in which the Federal Council participates in corpore and assists the President of the Confederation in the exercise of their function. The Federal Chancellery also organizes votes and elections at the federal level. It ensures contact with initiative and referendum committees and verifies the formal success of referendum applications and popular initiatives. Finally, the Federal Chancellery supports and coordinates the digital transformation of the Federal Administration.
