Bern | 60-100% This is what you can contribute <br /> • Conduct Dublin interviews with asylum seekers and clarify Switzerland's responsibility for the asylum procedure • Independently decide on the initiation of Dublin or readmission procedures • Draft and coordinate requests for admission, readmission, and information exchange with Dublin countries • Monitor procedural deadlines and record and update data in the central migration system • Take on administrative tasks in the Dublin and return sector and support the section management • Assume special tasks and supporting activities in the return area <br /> What makes you unique <br /> • University degree, preferably with a legal focus (completed or near completion) • Interest in migration, asylum, and administrative law issues • Analytical and structured approach to work as well as enjoyment of independent decision-making • Clear written expression and editorial skills • Ability to withstand pressure, sense of responsibility, and willingness to learn in a dynamic environment • Good active knowledge of an official language and knowledge of a second official language <br /> In brief You will gain in-depth insight into the Dublin procedure and work at the interface of law, administration, and international cooperation. The Federal Asylum Center Bern carries out the accelerated asylum procedures for the Bern region. As part of the BAZ directorate, the asylum region is also co-responsible for the initial accommodation and registration of newly arriving asylum seekers in Switzerland.
