Bern, Switzerland \| 80-100% The contribution you can make <br /> • Handle bilateral economic relations with countries in this geographical area according to the needs of the Americas sector • Develop economic analyses and assist the sector in preparing and organizing service trips and official visits of representatives from these countries • Provide support to the sector for collaboration with other services of the Federal Administration and for maintaining contacts with foreign authorities and economic circles <br /> What distinguishes you <br /> • University degree in international economics, international relations or social sciences; solid knowledge of economics • Strong interest in the American continent, perspicacity, analytical spirit and organizational skills • Excellent written and oral knowledge of two official languages and good knowledge of English for international contacts; knowledge of Spanish or Portuguese is an advantage • Discretion, diplomacy, strong resilience and flexibility; knowledge or practical experience of the geographical areas in question is an advantage <br /> In summary The Bilateral Economic Relations division is part of the External Economic Affairs Directorate and manages bilateral economic relations with other countries. The Americas sector aims to develop and deepen economic relations between Switzerland and the countries in this geographical area.
