Berne \| 80-100% What you can contribute <br /> • Conduct research on issues relating to politics and law • Coordinate responses to correspondence from citizens • Draft memoranda • Contribute to the preparation of files for parliamentary commissions • Participate in coordination and planning relating to parliamentary sessions • Accomplish special mandates related to the affairs of the Federal Council <br /> What makes you unique <br /> • University degree (obtained less than a year ago, in accordance with the directives regarding the engagement of university interns) • Quick-wittedness and the ability to briefly and clearly present complex subjects • Ability to focus on the essentials and to write texts of great precision • Service orientation and team spirit • Sense of responsibility and familiarity with digital processes • Good active knowledge in a second official language <br /> In a few words In this position, you will actively support our chancellery, a true hub between the head of the DDPS, the offices of the DDPS and other stakeholders working for the federal departments and the Parliament. The General Secretariat of the DDPS is the staff body of the department. It assists the head of the department as a member of the Federal Council and in the management of the department. The SG DDPS develops the political strategy and directives intended for the administrative units, supports and monitors their implementation. It furthermore ensures planning, control and coordination at the departmental level in the cross-cutting areas of personnel, finance, law and IT, but also in the field of security policy or in that of spatial planning and the environment.
