Bern, Switzerland \| 80-100% The contribution you can make <br /> • Assist the project management in the preparation of the report on foreign economic policy and in strategic processes within SECO. • Research data and information and prepare any graphical representations of contributions for the report on foreign economic policy. • Finalize the report in its entirety in collaboration with the project manager and the editors. • Prepare and coordinate meetings with internal and external stakeholders and contribute to their proper conduct. • Support the field of services in other areas as needed, in particular in the coordination of European issues. <br /> What distinguishes you <br /> • University degree (bachelor or master) in economics, law, political science or international relations, with an interest in economic issues and data-based analyses. • Interest in foreign economic policy and in the activities of the Federal Council and Parliament. • Initiative, ease of contact with different interlocutors and ability to work both in a group and independently. • Liveliness, sense of organization, excellent writing skills, precision and reliability. • Excellent knowledge of MS Office programs, in particular Excel and PowerPoint, as well as experience in data visualization and presentation design. • Excellent knowledge of one official language and good knowledge of a second official language. <br /> In brief The specialized services for foreign economic policy (AF) of SECO deal with a wide range of issues related to foreign economic policy. Among its main tasks are the coordination of the work on the Federal Council's annual report on foreign economic policy and the development of strategic works. To support these activities, we are looking for a university intern interested in current issues of foreign economic policy and willing to gain an overview of the Confederation's work at the interface between economy and politics.
