Agroscope is the federal competence center for research in the agricultural and food industry. The researchers carry out their activities at various locations in Switzerland. Headquarters is Bern-Liebefeld (from 2026: Posieux FR). Agroscope is located within the Federal Department of Economic Affairs, Education and Research WBF.

Additional information

The Finance department carries out the accounting of Agroscope and advises and supports researchers, departments and the executive management regarding finance-relevant and business management questions, in particular through the provision of decision-relevant information. The area also bears the responsibility for the process and the controlling of externally funded projects.
