The Amt für Abfall, Wasser, Energie und Luft (AWEL) examines water and soil samples for pollutants and assesses their condition. As part of the national and cantonal surface water and groundwater monitoring, the waters are examined for organic trace substances such as pharmaceutical residues and pesticides. Your tasks The focus is on sample preparation and instrumental analysis, such as the measurement and evaluation of water samples using state-of-the-art GC-APCI-MS/MS methods. Additionally, the internship offers the opportunity to gain insight into other specialist areas of the AWEL. Your profile You have a completed Bachelor or Master in chemistry, environmental sciences or similar and want to get to know the field of environmental analysis better. High motivation and interest in working in the laboratory, as well as a precise and careful way of working, are a matter of course for you.
