The Schlichtungsbehörde Berner Jura - Seeland in Biel/Bienne has four internship positions each in 2027 and 2028 for BLaw or MLaw 80% or 100% to be filled for an internship duration of 6 months.

Your tasks

You will receive the opportunity to work largely independently within the framework of legal advice in tenancy and labor law under expert supervision by the responsible court clerks.

As part of conciliation proceedings, you will prepare the minutes, write legal clarifications prior to the proceedings, and prepare process-controlling orders.

Your profile

A requirement for an internship is the successful completion of a legal Master's degree (Bachelor is also sufficient). You have quick comprehension, are resilient and flexible. You are a native German speaker and your oral French skills correspond to level B2. You have good knowledge of MS Office products and master the ten-finger typing system. Ideally, you already have initial practical experience.

The working conditions are based on the kantonalen Personalgesetz (PG; BSG 153.01) as well as the Verordnung über das Arbeitsverhältnis der Praktikantinnen und Praktikanten (Praktikantenverordnung PAV; BSG 153.012.1).
