At our location in Schulhaus Vogtsrain in Zürich Höngg, we are looking for an intern 80-100% for a fixed term of 6 - 12 months, starting immediately or by arrangement.

Tasks

• Practical life and school-related guidance as well as support in the hygienic and social areas of the students
• Collaboration in extracurricular and holiday care as well as accompaniment during leisure activities and school events
• Administrative support for teachers as well as preparation and follow-up of lessons
• Interdisciplinary cooperation in the school and care team
• Participation in meetings, school location meetings, and internal school training

Profile

• Willingness to commit to students with special needs
• Motivated, open, resilient personality with a positive view of humanity
• Independent way of working, great flexibility as well as very good team and communication skills
• Students or career changers are very welcome
• Very good German skills orally and in writing (at least C1), minimum age 20 years

About us

Die Heilpädagogische Schule der Stadt Zürich is a day special school for 4 to 15-year-old children with a cognitive and/or multiple impairment. As part of the Dienstabteilung Sonderpädagogik, we offer the students, who are educated in separated classes in various school buildings in the Stadt Zürich, a supportive environment and focus the interdisciplinary promotion on their strengths.

Our teams at the various locations in the Stadt Zürich consist of school special education teachers, teachers, social educators, care specialists, apprentices, assistants as well as speech therapists and psychomotor therapists.
