Triaplus employs around 600 employees, is the teaching hospital of the University of Lucerne, and holds recognition as a continuing education center. With the Klinik Zugersee and the decentralized outpatient clinics, we ensure psychiatric care in the cantons of Uri, Schwyz, and Zug.

Klinik Zugersee is a center for inpatient psychiatry and psychotherapy for adults and adolescents. As a Category A continuing education clinic, inpatient with a total of 158 clinic beds and about 1600 admissions per year, it is equal to university and cantonal clinics.

Clinical social workers are experts in interface work between the individual and the social environment. The goal is to promote the recovery process, social participation, and the protection of people with health impairments or those threatened by illness. They do this particularly by addressing and positively influencing the social aspects of health. In this function, the task of social work is distinguished from administrative and nursing tasks. The focus is directed towards supporting the entire social system.

Internship in inpatient social work for one year or one semester ##

Your tasks include ###

• Case management (admission to discharge)
• Participation in interprofessional meetings (doctors, nursing, psychologists)
• Networking work in the cantons of Zug, Schwyz, Uri
• Participation in discussions with employers, social insurance institutions, residential institutions, relatives, KESB, and custodians etc.
• Participation in internal continuing education
• Participation in team meetings, intervision, and supervision
• Social work in the areas of: youth work, gerontology, acute psychiatry, addiction, and special therapies
