Intern in the Department of Soil Sciences – Focus: Field trials in arable farming

We are looking for a qualified intern in the Department of Soil Sciences – Focus: Field trials in arable farming

Topics/Tasks:
Assistance in the field trials of the Arable Crop Production group. Sampling and assessments of strip trials. Assistance in the projects variety testing (wheat, soy, potatoes), strip cultivation, soil cultivation, weed regulation in organic sugar beets and grain legumes. Updating fact sheets for practice, assistance in field walks.
The intern helps with the work arising. Work planning is based on the current requirements in the field. The intern should assist in the scientific projects to a limited extent.

Duration & Start:
6 months, start from 1 April or 1 May

Requirements:
MSc or BSc degree. Interest in practical agricultural trials; physical fitness and enjoyment of field work; students of agronomy; driving license Cat. B.
Due to domestic priority, applicants from Switzerland as well as from EU/EFTA states will be preferred.
