The Schlichtungsbehörde Emmental-Oberaargau offers the opportunity to complete practical judicial training in Burgdorf as valuable preparation with regard to the bar exam (in accordance with the Anwaltsprüfungsverordnung).

The following positions are being offered:
Start 1. Mai 2027 or by arrangement (80%)
Start 1. August 2027 or by arrangement (100%)

The internship generally lasts 6 months with an employment degree of 80% - 100%.

Your tasks

• Case-related legal clarifications as part of the preparation for conciliation hearings
• Regular minute-taking during conciliation hearings and drafting of agreement drafts
• Drafting and justifying decisions (decisions according to Art. 212 ZPO, free legal aid, etc.) and decision proposals (Art. 210 ZPO)
• Telephone and personal legal advice in tenancy and employment law

Your profile

• preferably a completed degree in law (MLaw) at the time of starting the position, at least however a degree as Bachelor of Law (BLaw)
• proficient German in speaking and writing
• flexible and independent way of working
• quick comprehension
• commitment and willingness to learn
• good knowledge of current Microsoft Office applications
• confidentiality and irreproachable conduct
