Position: Sustainable Development & CSR Engineer Intern

Entity: TQM / RSE

Location: Sonceboz-Sombeval, Switzerland

Do you want to put your knowledge of sustainable development at the service of an innovative and responsible industry? By joining our team, you will contribute to several strategic projects and will be supported by our sustainability expert to meet today's environmental and societal challenges.

The objective of the internship is to contribute to the deployment of the company's Sustainable Development strategy through projects related to decarbonization, energy performance, and the assessment of the environmental impacts of our products.

Your mission ###

• Perform the calculation of the company's carbon footprint according to the Bilan Carbone® method and the GHG Protocol for all three scopes across our two production sites.
• Contribute to the development of carbon footprint projections for the 2039 horizon and the identification of levers to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, particularly in scope 3.
• Participate in the implementation of an energy management system involving all relevant business areas of the company, in the spirit of the ISO 50001 standard.
• Strengthen and develop our Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) tools in order to support research teams in calculating the environmental impacts of products.

These activities will contribute directly to achieving the company's environmental objectives and the deployment of sustainable solutions in our activities and our products.

Your skills ###

• Knowledge of carbon accounting methodologies, Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), or energy management.
• Appetite for data analysis and management of environmental indicators.
• Curiosity, analytical mindset, and ability to work autonomously.
• Taste for cross-functional projects requiring interaction with different business areas.
• Proficiency in professional English, both oral and written.

Your background ###

• Engineering student in the final year of training (Master's level or equivalent), with a specialization in sustainable development, energy, or environment.
• Strong interest in sustainability, eco-design, and compliance issues within an industrial environment.
