The contribution you can make

• Collaborate on the further conceptual development of the organizational unit <<Transformation and innovation Defence>> and elaborate different organizational options and strategic concepts
• Conduct research, analyses, and benchmarks on topics such as organizational design, enabling, digital transformation, and military innovation
• Create communication materials to support transformation both at an internal and external level (presentations, dossiers, texts)
• Provide support in the design and development of digital work platforms (SharePoint, M365, Confluence)

Collaborate in the organization of workshops, meetings, and events in the field of transformation, enabling, and innovation

What distinguishes you

• University degree at master's level in business administration, psychology, social sciences (e.g., international relations, political science, communication sciences) or a related field. Knowledge in organizational development, transformation, or digitalization constitutes an advantage
• Aptitude for modern ways of working, communication, and digital collaboration
• Understanding of business mechanisms and practical challenges in daily activity

First practical work experience gained during studies at a company, a public entity, or a similar organization (for example through internships, work activity as a working student, or work carried out alongside studies)

The Army Staff (SM Es) provides support to the Chief of the Army in the conduct of the Defence Grouping and is responsible for the global military planning of the army and its subsequent development. Based on political directives, it develops the strategic foundations, the development of the armed forces, as well as the planning of the armed forces and equipment, and assumes tasks in the context of international security. The conduct, management, and coordination of all transversal sectors (Personnel, Finance, Real Estate) also fall within its sphere of competence.

The Swiss Army employs over 9000 employees within the framework of four military professions and approximately 200 civil professions, in 110 locations throughout the national territory. Furthermore, it provides for new recruits, training apprentices in over 30 professions.
