Tax Office Legal Internship Collection Service 80 - 100% Welcome to the fascinating world of taxes! Together with the municipal tax offices, the cantonal tax office levies taxes for the Confederation, the Canton, and the municipalities. We support private individuals and companies throughout the entire tax collection process. To this end, around 800 qualified employees are engaged at the location in Zürich Altstetten. The Collection Service handles the legal cases of tax collection. To complement our team, we are looking for a legal intern as soon as possible or by arrangement. The legal internship offers you the ideal entry to apply your knowledge "on the job" and to deepen your knowledge in tax and procedural law. You have the opportunity to get to know the cantonal administration more closely and at the same time expand your network. The internship is limited to 12 months. Your tasks * You independently process requests for tax remission, reduction, and repayment. * Drafting objection decisions in tax collection matters and fine proceedings is also part of your area of responsibility. * Additionally, you prepare appeal decisions regarding the collection and remission of state and municipal taxes as well as direct federal tax. * You actively participate in legal remedy and lawsuit proceedings. Your profile * You have a completed Master's degree MLaw or are about to graduate. * Preferably, you have already gained initial professional experience in the legal field during your studies, ideally at a court. * You enjoy working independently, are responsible, and show initiative. * Your high communication skills as well as your strong customer and service orientation distinguish you. * Additionally, you are interested in familiarizing yourself with new subject areas and can quickly grasp connections thanks to your good comprehension.
