Canton Schaffhausen, Public Prosecutor's Office Traffic Department The Public Prosecutor's Office of the Canton Schaffhausen is responsible for criminal prosecution and includes, under the leadership of the First Public Prosecutor, the three departments General Department, Juvenile Prosecution and Traffic Department. The Traffic Department is responsible for conducting criminal proceedings against adults, provided that traffic offenses on land, water or in the air are in the foreground. Furthermore, it is responsible for administrative proceedings and decides, for example, on the withdrawal of a driver's license.
