What you bring:

• Minimum age 24 years and interest in training in the field of social pedagogy
• Patience and willingness to deal with heterogeneous groups and adolescents with different learning and behavioral requirements
• Joy in supporting, motivating, and accompanying adolescents in their development during learning, joy in sports and movement as well as the ability to inspire adolescents for it
• Interest in working with male adolescents with behavioral issues
• Empathy, flexibility, patience and teamwork, willingness to engage with new and challenging situations and to reflect on one's own actions

Your working environment

The Jugendheim Aarburg (https://www.ag.ch/de/verwaltung/dvi/strafverfolgung-strafvollzug/jugendheim-aarburg) is an institution for the execution of civil and juvenile criminal law measures. Male adolescents and young adults who are at risk in their development are admitted. With pedagogical as well as therapeutic measures, the employees support the clients in integrating into the social order. In addition, specific school and vocational offers provide a foundation so that the adolescents and young adults can prepare for a self-responsible, crime-free life.

As of 01. February 2027, we are offering a six-month pre-internship in social pedagogy in a closed school setting - day structure and care. The assignment takes place predominantly in our school and vocational preparation group as well as in the closed residential group.

The internship comprises a workload of 80-100%. The working hours are Monday to Friday and are oriented towards the teaching times of the adolescents.
