We are looking for a qualified

Intern in the Department of Plant Sciences – Focus on Vegetables and Horticulture (100%)

Topics/Work:
Assistance in conducting laboratory, greenhouse, and field trials in organic vegetables, herbs, ornamental plants, and horticulture. Our practical trials take place in Frick, as well as on various organic practice farms throughout Switzerland.
The work includes establishing field trial plots, maintenance work in the crops, various measurements and data collection on plants and soil, sampling for further investigation, laboratory analyses, as well as assistance with data evaluation, reporting, writing practical articles, and the organization of field days and field walks for practitioners.

Duration & Start:
6 – 9 months, March, April or May 2027

Requirements:
MSc or BSc degree, interest in practice-oriented research and in specialty crops, independent working style, enjoyment of teamwork and working in the field, driving license B is necessary, valid permit or EU/EFTA citizens.
