As an Investments Intern, you will be supporting the team throughout the investment lifecycle, starting from sourcing and execution of transactions to post-closing value creation and asset management tasks all the way to potential opportunistic sell-downs. The role includes, but is not limited to, the following key responsibilities:
Support the investments team throughout the entire investment lifecycle, from sourcing and due diligence to execution and closing of transactions
Support asset managers in measuring and creating shareholder value in existing portfolio companies
Support on developing and maintaining financial models used for reporting and valuation of our portfolio companies
Perform independent research on specific markets and investment opportunities
Contribute to company-wide initiatives aimed at business growth and efficiency
Students in their penultimate or final year of study in top-tier business schools / universities, as well as recent graduates in finance, economics, engineering and/or equivalent advanced training (CFA, CIIA, or CAIA, or progress towards obtaining them)
Relevant internship experience in any of the following sectors is a plus: investment banking/M&A, private equity, consulting, project finance, energy/utilities
Familiarity with corporate finance, financial modeling, and the energy industry
Strong analytical skills, high motivation, commitment and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Excellent command of Excel and PowerPoint
Fluency in English is a must, (Swiss-)German is a plus
Six month internship on a rolling basis; earliest start date Aug-2026 in EIP’s investments team
Mentoring from an experienced line-manager and direct exposure to senior management
