Position: Intern Electronic Tests & Validation Engineer

Location: Boncourt, Suisse

You will participate in the design and development of the complete software part of a new generation of automated test bench intended for the validation of mechatronic actuators.

The main objective of the internship is to design a modular, scalable and reusable software architecture allowing the integration of new test functions, the management of complex multi-action scenarios and the future deployment of this solution on client projects. This project is part of an approach to industrializing testing means and capitalizing on validation software developments.

• Design a modular, scalable and reusable software architecture for a new automated test bench.
• Develop the software part of the test bench intended for the validation of mechatronic actuators.
• Integrate new validation functions.
• Develop complex multi-action test scenarios.
• Design and develop a library of generic functions in a SW Factory logic.
• Participate in the standardization of validation software developments.
• Contribute to the improvement of the maintainability and reusability of testing means.

These activities will contribute to the standardization of testing means, to the improvement of their maintainability and to their deployment on several future applications.

• Interest in software development applied to automated test systems.
• Interest in testing and validation activities of electronic or mechatronic systems.
• Knowledge in software programming, notably in C language.
• Analytical spirit, rigor and autonomy.
• Engineering student in the final year of training (Master's level or equivalent), with a specialization in electrical engineering, embedded systems, automation.
