Who we are ### Gleis58 is the neighborhood meeting point in the Rosental-/Erlenmattquartier in Basel - a place of encounter for people of all ages and different cultures. With us, children, young people, families, neighborhood residents and volunteers meet. Together, we design a lively meeting point with offers in the areas of child and youth work, neighborhood life, culture and gastronomy. ? Get to know Gleis58 What to expect from you ### No day is like the other. You work actively with us and get a varied insight into social work. Your tasks include, among other things: • Cooperation in open child and youth work • Support for children's programs, projects and holiday programs • Cooperation in neighborhood events and cultural events • Support in the gastronomy area, for example at brunch, events and café operations • Assistance with organizational and administrative tasks • Preparation and follow-up of offers What you bring ### • Joy in working with children and young people • Interest in social work, neighborhood work and social issues • Openness to people from different cultures and worlds • Initiative, sense of responsibility and reliability • Teamwork and good communication skills • Willingness to also participate in individual evening or weekend shifts • Minimum age 18 years Why Gleis58? ### With us, you are not just a trainee.
