We are a young and dynamic family business specializing in medical technology, based in Oberkirch/Sursee (LU). Our focus is on minimally invasive treatment methods in spinal surgery. Our clients include hospitals, which we support with implants, instruments, and advanced technologies. Over the years, we have become one of the most important partners for spinal surgeons in Switzerland.

You have the opportunity to complete an internship (9 months) with us to become a Junior Product Specialist incl. PM & Sales Specialist and to subsequently develop within the company. During this period, you will acquire valuable knowledge about the different activities of our medical technology company and participate in many surgical interventions in hospitals in the western part of Switzerland.

Junior Product Specialist Trainee incl. PM & Sales Internship in Suisse Romande Start: Immediate or to be agreed ##

Your main tasks:

Product Specialist / Surgical Support (hospital-based position):

• Acquire clinical expertise to assist doctors and nursing staff before and during interventions
• Collaborate on the development of training programs (internal and external clients)
• Co-responsibility in the management of loan sets (surgical instruments)
• Possibility of evolution as a Product Specialist / Surgical Support

Product Management (PM) / Marketing:

• Participation in product management (market research, design & implementation of new product launches, etc.)
• Development and implementation of marketing measures (website, mailing campaigns, organization of exhibitions/congresses, etc.)
• Possibility of evolution as a Product Manager or Marketing Manager

Sales Specialist / Medical Consultant:

• Acquisition of product knowledge to deeply understand advantages and characteristics
• Preparation and participation in meetings with surgeons
• Organization of road shows, cross-selling during interventions and congresses
• Possibility of evolution as a Sales Specialist for surgeons

Other: Collaboration in other tasks & projects (e.g., sales support, quality management, etc.) as needed

Your profile:

• Degree in health sciences and technology, human medicine or natural sciences
• Interest in the hospital environment and identification with medical technology products
• Dedicated person with systematic, goal-oriented working methods and a great willingness to serve
• High degree of autonomy, reliability and initiative
• Ability to manage several projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
• Good communication skills, willingness to build relationships with clients
• Availability for continuous professional development
• Above-average motivation, as well as entrepreneurial thinking and action
• Good physical condition as certain devices/sets must be carried/brought to the hospital
• Excellent command of French, good knowledge of English, knowledge of German is a plus
• Ideally residing in Suisse Romande (around Fribourg/Lausanne) and willing to travel (mainly in Switzerland) & driver's license
