Your area of responsibility

You will receive the following insights

• Care of inpatient internal medicine patients under supervision
• Assistance with patient admission and discharge
• Learning and practicing specific clinical examination techniques as well as interpreting technical examinations
• In the emergency station: medical emergency admissions, care of outpatient/general practitioner patients, participation in minor surgical procedures (wound care, repositioning, casting)
• Medical student interns are integrated into the on-call service operation

Your profile

• Medical student interns in the elective study year (CH) or respectively in the internship year/PJ (D)
• very good German skills in speaking and writing
• independent, reliable way of working
• resilient, flexible, responsible and hungry for knowledge
• working in a team and having interest in learning more about how a regional hospital operates

Our offer

• Learning clinical assessment (anamnesis, status) in inpatient and outpatient patients, holistic assessment of a patient with the creation of a clarification and therapy plan
• Carrying out diagnostic tests, learning counseling conversations, participation in specialist medical examinations (ultrasound, echocardiography, endoscopy)
• Learning differential diagnostic approach as well as expanding the ability for problem-oriented thinking
