Berne, Suisse | 80-100% What you can contribute to <br /> • Support the project management in the development of the report on foreign economic policy as well as in strategic processes within SECO. • Research data and information, and prepare potential graphical representations of contributions to the report. • Finalize the entire report in collaboration with the project manager and the editors. • Prepare and coordinate meetings with internal and external stakeholders and contribute to their smooth running. • Support the service area in other fields of activity as needed, particularly in the coordination of European affairs. <br /> What makes you unique <br /> • Degree from a university of applied sciences (bachelor's or master's) in economics, law, political science, or international relations, with a strong interest in economic issues and data-driven analysis. • Interest in foreign economic policy and in the work of the Federal Council and Parliament. • Initiative, ease of contact with varied interlocutors, and a taste for both autonomous and team work. • Liveliness, organizational sense, excellent writing skills, precision, and reliability. • Mastery of MS Office programs, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, as well as experience in data visualization and presentation design. <br /> In a few words The Foreign Economic Policy Services (AF) department of SECO deals with a wide range of foreign economic policy issues. Coordinating the work related to the Federal Council's annual report on foreign economic policy as well as strategic work are among the department's main tasks. To support these activities, we are looking for a university intern interested in current foreign economic policy issues and wanting to gain insight into the Confederation's work at the interface between economy and politics. It is attached to the Federal Department of Economic Affairs, Education and Research (DEFR). It contributes to the opening of all markets for goods, services, and investments.
