What you can contribute

• Evaluate construction projects from the perspective of groundwater protection as well as water morphology and ecology; write the corresponding position papers
• Participate in projects led by the Groundwater Protection and Water Management and bases for revitalization sections
• Write concise texts and reports on topics concerning water

What makes you unique

• Master's in natural sciences, geology, environmental sciences or geography
• Knowledge in the fields of water ecology and/or groundwater protection
• Interest in designing structured texts
• Taste for teamwork, autonomy and helpfulness
• Good active knowledge of at least a second official language and, ideally, knowledge of a third official language

The Federal Office for the Environment (OFEV) is responsible for ensuring the sustainable exploitation of natural resources such as soil, water, air and forest. The OFEV is an office of the Federal Department of the Environment, Transport, Energy and Communications (DETEC).

Duration: position limited to one year.

The duration of the internship is limited to twelve months. Priority is given to candidates available until the end of December 2027.
