The Personalamt of the Canton of Zürich is the competence center for all personnel, labor, and social insurance law issues of the over 30'000 employees of the Canton of Zürich as well as many public-law institutions and municipalities. The Personnel Law Department of the Personalamt is significantly responsible for the interpretation and further development of cantonal personnel law.

Do you want to finally put your previous theoretical knowledge into practice and get a real insight into the world of personnel law of the most economically powerful canton in Switzerland? If you are ready to take the leap from the lecture hall into practice and actively apply your legal knowledge, then you have come to the right place!

Your tasks: ###

• Your legal knowledge is not only used on paper. Because you actively and practically provide legal advice on personnel law issues.
• Work hand in hand with experienced jurists and contribute your knowledge to in-depth investigations of specialist questions.
• Take responsibility for the maintenance of our internal knowledge database, which is used daily by a large number of HR specialists in the canton.
• Be an important part of processing appeal cases and actively support the implementation of training in personnel law.

What you bring with you: ###

• You bring a lively interest in administrative law and have a completed degree in law (MLaw).
• While initial practical work experience and knowledge in labor and personnel law are an advantage, we are equally open to motivated graduates who want to put their theoretical knowledge into practice.
• A quick grasp, independent and careful working are just as important to us as enjoyment in contact with numerous contact persons.
• With us, you can not only develop your legal skills but also further maintain your good writing style. The ability to communicate in an audience-appropriate and understandable manner completes your profile.
