In our Surgery-Orthopaedics team, as a medical student intern, you will gain insight into our broad spectrum of surgical disciplines and expand your expertise through your practical collaboration.

As a regional hospital/acute hospital with emergency services, a nursing home, and Spitex, we are responsible for the basic medical care of the Davos population and guests. However, the well-being of our employees is equally important to us. With us, you will work in a manageable operation that is nonetheless important for the region. We maintain a collegial working atmosphere and appreciate the proximity to nature as well as the numerous sports and leisure opportunities in Davos.

You will receive the following insights

• You will work full-time and thus gain profound knowledge of the daily routine in the hospital
• Collect medical histories under supervision and guidance
• Care for patients
• Attend outpatient consultations
• Be involved in general medical ward work
• Assist in operations
• If necessary, participate in medical research
• Participate in the 24-hour on-call service

and we rely on

• Student in human medicine
• Knowledge-hungry, upbeat young personalities who enjoy working in a team and are interested in learning more about how a regional hospital operates

Our offer

Students actively participate in the daily workflow of the clinic. This includes activities in the department, in the outpatient consultations and in the operating room, daily participation in reports and continuing education events as well as in meetings about surgical indicators. After induction, independent care of surgical patients in the emergency room or in the department is possible under the guidance of a senior physician.
