Migration moves

The State Secretariat for Migration (SEM) is responsible for all foreign nationals and asylum law matters of Switzerland.

The residence sections of the Dublin, Residence & Resettlement (DAR) division process a diverse and demanding spectrum of foreign nationals law business. This includes, in particular, applications for family reunification and change of canton, as well as procedures concerning the termination of provisional admission, the recognition of statelessness, secondary asylum, and data corrections.

Additional information

The degree completion and internship start may be a maximum of one year apart.

The internship duration is limited to four months (from 1 January to 30 April 2027).
