V-ZUG Global Design ###

Global Design turns technology into desirable product experiences. We don't just design appliances - we shape how people see, feel, and experience V-ZUG in everyday life. Our ambition: to develop products that function intuitively, look timeless, and make the quality of a Swiss premium brand palpable in every detail.

To achieve this, we combine strategy, creativity, and technological understanding. From the first sketch, through material, color, and interaction to the prototype, we think about design holistically - always with the goal of turning complex requirements into simple, relevant, and convincing solutions.

As an interdisciplinary team, we work closely with development, marketing, and other specialist departments. We question existing things, experiment with new technologies and materials, and continuously develop the design language of V-ZUG.

What this position offers you ###

• You develop product concepts from the first idea to implementation and experience how a thought becomes a concrete product
• You work with sketches, 3D models, renderings, and prototypes and use different methods to make design ideas visible and tangible
• With rapid prototyping and 3D printing, you test, validate, and further develop ideas - directly on the model and with a high demand for detail
• You engage with new technologies, materials, and manufacturing processes and check their potential for future products
• You work closely with design, development, marketing, and other specialist departments and bring your perspective into interdisciplinary projects

What you bring to the position ###

• You have completed a degree in Industrial Design or a comparable field of study and want to apply your design know-how in a demanding product environment
• You have a very good sense of form, proportion, material, color, and detail and understand how a consistent product emerges from them
• You work confidently with common design, visualization, and CAD tools and bring experience in rendering, rapid prototyping, or 3D printing, or have a great desire to delve deeper into these technologies
• You enjoy implementing design ideas holistically, from digital conception and visualization to physical modeling and experimenting, through to the testing of new technologies, materials, and manufacturing processes
• You work independently, structured, and solution-oriented, while simultaneously bringing joy in collaboration and exchange
• You communicate very well in German and English
