AI & Data Consultant Intern: Accelerating the integration of Data and AI solutions into business operations

To support its clients in seizing opportunities arising from data valuation and in engaging their data transformation, the firm Wavestone has decided to strengthen its Switzerland teams with collaborators able to combine strong scientific, IT, and business skills.

Reporting to the Wavestone Switzerland office, the objective of the internship is to structure top-tier expertise in data technologies within the framework of our clients' business issues. Among the subjects that may be proposed:

• How to industrialize and operationalize AI projects (MLOps, continuous model improvement methods...)?
• How to take advantage of new data labeling tools (notably unstructured data)?
• What are the automated video processing solutions and what are their specificities compared to image and sound processing solutions?
• How to take advantage of GPT-X models in NLP compared to "more classical" approaches?

In order to obtain concrete and directly actionable results for our clients, the intern must, during the scoping phase of their subject, define the business sector within which their work will take place (health, energy, transport...)

As an intern consultant, you will also be required to contribute to our clients' operational missions.

We also give you the opportunity to participate actively in the internal life of the firm through:

• Supporting the development of our data expertise: contribution to prospecting actions and responses to commercial proposals
• Production of actor radars aimed at better understanding the data market in Switzerland
• Production of support material aimed at acculturating and initiating other firm collaborators to data
• Participation in company events: afterworks, recreational activities and organized outings, meetings with market players etc.

A future Master's graduate, you are attracted to consulting and issues surrounding Data and have notably developed:

• Theoretical and practical knowledge in data analysis and Machine Learning (supervised, unsupervised, reinforcement learning algorithms, Deep Learning...) and a curiosity about Artificial Intelligence subjects
• A scientific appetite (mathematics, statistics, probabilities, optimization...)
• Initial programming skills (Python, R...)
• An IT culture (IS architecture, data foundation...)
• Intellectual curiosity, a sharp critical and analytical mind allowing you to quickly understand our clients' specificities and produce quality deliverables
• Very good interpersonal skills, a pronounced sense of service, and a certain proactivity to build a relationship of trust with your clients and guide them towards excellence in their major transformation projects
• A taste for entrepreneurship and innovation
