Intern in Direct Procurement & Supply Chain - Genève

Within our biotech campus and Geneva headquarters, and under the supervision of our Material & Production Planner, your mission consists of supporting direct procurement, planning, and supply activities in order to guarantee the availability of raw materials and components necessary for production. Your main responsibilities are as follows: • Actively participate in the management of strategic purchases related to production (raw materials, active ingredients, packaging items, and industrial consumables)  • Contribute to securing supplies, optimizing costs, and the performance of the supplier panel, in compliance with the quality, regulatory, and operational requirements of the pharmaceutical industry  • Collaborate with the Procurement, Production, Supply Chain, Quality, and Finance teams in order to support operational activities and continuous improvement projects • Participate in the analysis of supply chain data and the preparation of dashboards to support decision-making  • Occasionally support sustainability and responsible procurement initiatives in collaboration with the relevant teams To successfully carry out these activities, we are looking for a person with the following profile: • Currently undergoing university or HES training (Bachelor, Master) in Supply Chain, Procurement, Engineering, Business Administration, or similar - mandatory internship as part of the academic program & internship agreement required • Strong interest in procurement, supply chain, and industrial environments, ideally in the pharmaceutical, biotech, or healthcare sectors • Good understanding of S&OP processes, planning, or supply management  • Excellent analytical skills and comfort with numerical data • Fluent level in French with good skills in English • Excellent mastery of the Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint; knowledge of an ERP (Sage or equivalent) is an asset What this internship will bring you: • Practical and enriching experience allowing you to develop a global understanding of direct procurement, supply chain, and supply challenges in the pharmaceutical industry • The opportunity to contribute to strategic and operational activities, by collaborating closely with the Procurement, Supply Chain, Production, Quality, and Finance teams • A work environment based on trust and collaboration, where your proactivity and initiative will be fully valued • A better understanding of sustainability issues, responsible supplier management, and securing supplies You stand out by your rigor, your sense of organization, and your analytical mind.
