The Information System and Statistics (UNISIS) of the University of Lausanne produces the official statistics of the institution and designs decision-making tools intended for the faculties, services, and the Direction. To strengthen our Statistics and Institutional Indicators Pole, we are advertising a position for a graduate intern. Do you want to work on real university data (student numbers, staff, success, finances) with R, SQL and Tableau? This internship is for you. Intern Statistics and Data Analysis (100%) Your activities Develop, ensure reliability and automate production scripts for institutional statistics (R, SQL); Design interactive dashboards (Tableau, R Shiny); Use AI code assistants (including Claude Code) to gain efficiency; Document indicators and contribute to legal and recurring deliveries (OFS, Canton, faculties). Your profile Bachelor or master (or in the process of completion) in statistics, data science, quantitative social sciences, economics or a related discipline; Programming in R or Python; Rigor, autonomy, excellent French; Strict respect for confidentiality and data protection (LPD/RGPD); First experience is not required: the internship is educational. Conditions Location: Unicentre, campus de Dorigny. In-person position, open to candidates residing in Switzerland (teleworking 1 day/week max.); Rate: 100 %, for 6 months, from 1 September 2026 or to be agreed; Remuneration: CHF 1'820.--/month (gross), according to the scale for graduate interns of UNIL; Application deadline: Sunday 2 August 2026.
